Your photos stay on your device. Every image you compress, resize or convert is processed locally on your phone. The app never uploads your photos, thumbnails or file names to us or to anyone else.

What the app accesses on your device

Photos you pick	To compress, resize or convert them. Selection happens through the Android Photo Picker, so the app only ever receives the specific images you choose. It declares no storage permission and cannot browse your gallery on its own.	No

Permissions the app does not request

No storage permission, no camera, no location, no microphone, no contacts, no phone state, no account access. The app needs internet access only so that ads and analytics can be delivered.

Advertising

The free version shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure those ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect device identifiers (including the Android advertising ID), coarse device and network information, and ad interaction events. That data is handled by Google, not by us — we receive only aggregate revenue reports and never see anything about individual users.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
A future one-time “Remove Ads” purchase will stop all ad requests.

Analytics

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which features are used and whether they work. What is recorded is limited on purpose:

Which screen you opened (for example “compress”, “history”)
Which operation you ran, in which mode, and whether it succeeded — with the number of images reported only as a coarse range such as “2–5” or “11–25”
Roughly how much size was saved, rounded to the nearest 10%
Failure reasons such as “out of memory” or “file missing”
Whether the ad-free version is active

What is never recorded: your photos, their contents, file names, folder paths, URIs, or image dimensions. No event can identify a specific picture or person. Firebase also assigns a random app-instance identifier and collects standard device and country information; you can clear it by uninstalling the app or resetting your advertising ID. There is no crash-reporting SDK in the app.

Children

The app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Data retention and deletion

We hold no account and no personal profile about you. Analytics data is retained by Google for at most 14 months and is not linked to any identity we hold. Everything the app creates lives on your device: uninstalling the app removes its history database, settings and temporary files, and you can delete the saved images from your gallery at any time. Ad identifiers are controlled through your Android settings as described above.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new “last updated” date.
