This policy explains what information the Word Search - Word Puzzle Game app ("the app") uses, why, and the choices you have. The app is published by KEM Mobile ("we").
Puzzle progress, found words, daily puzzle history, streaks and your settings (letter size, theme, sound) are stored only on your device. We do not receive them. You can erase them with Settings → Reset progress, or by uninstalling the app. If you use Android's device backup, Android may include this data in your own Google backup.
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To show and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK may collect and process:
This data is sent to Google and handled under Google's Privacy Policy. You can learn how Google uses data from apps at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Your choices: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads. If you are in a region that requires it (such as the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland), the app asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change that choice at any time in Settings → Privacy choices inside the app.
To learn how the app is used and where it can be better, the app sends usage events to Google Analytics for Firebase, a service of Google LLC. These events describe actions in the app, such as starting or finishing a puzzle, using a hint, or changing the letter size or theme. They never include your name, contact details or anything you type.
Along with these events, Firebase may collect device and app information such as the app instance ID, device model, operating system version, app version, and your IP address, which can indicate an approximate location (country or region). This information is processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy; see also Privacy and Security in Firebase.
Your choices: analytics follows the same privacy choice as advertising. Where consent is required (such as in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland), nothing is measured until you have made your choice, and you can change it any time in Settings → Privacy choices. You can also reset your advertising ID in your device settings.
"Remove ads" is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play. We never see your payment details. The app only learns whether the purchase was made, so it can turn ads off and restore the purchase on your other devices.
The app is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.
Data sent by the advertising and billing services is encrypted in transit by those services. Data the app keeps on your device is protected by Android's app sandbox.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's store listing.
